Criminal Justice Executive Development (CJED)
The Kentucky Justice Cabinet, Department of Criminal Justice Training developed a program for today’s law enforcement executives and executives-to-be, to become better trained and prepared for tomorrows ever-changing face of modern policing. The Criminal Justice Executive Development program (CJED) is a course of study in Advanced Leadership and Management Principles, five (5) weeks in length. Chief Ward attended the very first CJED class; Lt. Colonel Joseph Alexander attended CJED V graduating in May, 2003; Lt. George Schreiner attended CJED VIII, graduating in March 2006; and Sgt. J. Kevin Mathews attended CJED XIV, graduating in March 2011.
