Andy Schabell, Mayor
Welcome to Alexandria!
Hello, my name is Andy Schabell. I am married to Amanda Schabell, and together we have three wonderful children – Katlyn, Brooklyn, and John. I am a graduate of Bishop Brossart High School. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Police Administration in 2001. I volunteered with the Cold Spring/Crestview Volunteer Fire Department as both a firefighter and EMT from 1997-2002. I currently work for Darling Ingredients (formerly Griffin Industries) in Cold Spring, KY as a Corporate Transportation Coordinator.
I am excited to serve the citizens of Alexandria as Mayor. As a lifelong resident of Campbell County, I have seen the evolution of our city from a small rural town to a thriving, active, suburban community. I believe that we are in the middle of a very important time of growth for our City. The decisions that we make today will have long-reaching effects on all of us and people that will look to move to Alexandria in the coming years. I feel that it is our duty as elected officials to not only encourage the growth of our city, but also to manage it in a way that insures we have the resources available to maintain the high level of service that citizens now enjoy.
If there is anything that you would like to discuss, please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will get back to you very soon.
