Starting Tuesday, September 5, 2023 the city’s Public Works Department will begin demolition and removal of the old shelter by the playground. During this time the area will be roped off, this will include the playground equipment with the slide and the walk area by the restrooms. The restrooms will still be open during this time.
Beginning Monday, September 11, 2023 construction should begin on the new shelter. The area will still be roped off and there could be heavy equipment in the area.
A larger shelter will be placed in the same spot. Please be patient with us during the construction.
